Dose anyone know where I can get only the fuel level sending unit for my 2001 ram? The only thing I can find is the whole module with the fuel pump, one of my buddy's replaced his and we saw it's bolt off, and simply removable, but we can't find just the part anywhere. We don't wanna shell out $200 when all that's wrong is the level sensor on the side, any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

 

I don`t think you can get just the sending unit by it self for our trucks, at least ive never seen them sold separately. So, your probably going to have to buy the complete unit. My truck has the same problem, but I got lucky in that the previous owner bought a new fuel pump/sending unit, I just need to have it installed.

 

In my vast (ly limited) experience, when the level sensor goes the fuel pump isn't far behind. You would probably be ahead of the game to just change the whole unit. Try to go with a name brand unit, the cheap ones don't last usually.
