Default Help with a Body Lift

Ok folks I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie SLT 2WD. I am going to put a 3 inch body lift to just to get up a little and I was wondering what all will I need to extend. I know there is a steering column extension with the kit but I think with all the things atached to the body I might need to extend other things. Wiring? Fuel Filler Neck? Any Ideas? Thanks for the help

Wiring should be ok. Steering shaft is a must, as is the trans shift linkage. (automatic trans.) I don't know what they do about the cooling fan being lower in the shroud.... (you are moving the body, which the radiator mounts to, up. Engine is staying in the same place..... so, relative positions change. Maybe they redrill the mounting holes for the radiator? Don't know.)

Welcome to DF!

It will have to be extended as well. Tank mounts to the frame, filler mounts to the body....

Default Thanks

Thanks for the info guys I'm going to see if there are any parts online that will help me do these extensions. I know the bumper brackets and the steering shaft extension comes in the kit but I'll need to find the shift linkage and Fuel filler neck to complete the kit
