Default Radio problem...

Ive been having radio issues ever since I put an aftermarket one in. Ive put the original back in because it was constantly going off and on with even the smallest bump if at all. One thing I can think of is I blew the IOD fuse when I failed to unhook battery and shorted a wire when I first installed the new radio.

I would say faulty connection, but it worked flawlessly before that and after I blew the fuse, it started to fail on me regardless of what radio. Another thing I have noticed is if I stop with the radio still not working, turn the key off and then back on, the radio pops back on. Messing with the light switch and instrument dimmer switch also has an effect by making it shut off. Even sitting still, itll start clicking on and off like its overloading something. Is there a breaker or something that is going bad?

The back ground lights for the presets and stuff never shut off so far, but its just the sound and LED display that I have noticed. Im still looking for a wiring diagram that shows me the power and grounding from source to radio incase there is a faulty part that was messed up when I blew the IOD. Any help is much appreciated.

Replace the IOD fuse again.
