Erm, that ain't right. Your fuel systems operates at about 40 PSI, simple hose clamps are just ASKING for trouble....... Really need to do something different there. I think you can get a 'real' fix for that in the 'help' brand section of most autoparts stores..... it will have the correct connector on the end for the fuel rail, and probably some variety of compression fitting for the hose side.

Be sure to let your truck cool off and sit for a bit before removing the fuel line. Loosen the clamps on each end of the current hose and twist it off the existing fittings. Cut your new hose to the exact length of the old hose, add the clamps onto each end of the new hose, twist the new hose into the same position as the old hose, then tighten up the clamps. Start the truck and check for leaks.

Please note that the hose you are installing is not the way the factory fuel line connected to the fuel rail. The factory fuel line ends where you see the metal 90 degree bend. It originally had a quick connect style end on it that allowed the factory fuel line to connect directly to the fuel rail without that length of fuel line you have installed now.

I recommend getting a new line at the junkyard. Here you can see how it's supposed to be and where you can disconnect it along the frame.
