I'm about to change ring and pinions in the front and rear of my truck to 4.10 from 3.54. Does anyone know if the Dana 60 axles in these truck use crush sleeves for setting the pinion bearing preload? I did not think that was the case, however, an installation master bearing kit supplier thinks that these Dodge trucks have 'AM Dana 60' differentials in them and therby use crush sleeves. Thoughts from those that have pulled them apart?

Absolute verification is pulling the BOM number, which is a Dana thing....

Pull BOM like he said. It will tell you everything.

There could be a idenifitciation tag on the diff cover between two bolts. and should be stamped into the axle tube. Rear axle is passenger side I think. And front is driver. I could be wrong tho but it's there somewhere
