Default Lift kits, whats all needed

My springs have begun to die on me in the rear and I'm looking at an all new setup and Ive never had anything too lifted. Now I know some of you are going to argue with how this lift would be done I'm just wondering everything that needs to be adressed(as far as steering drops etc) to make this work roughly how it should.

I plan on getting a 5.5in rear block with all hardware and AAL's for somewhere around 6inches of lift out back
Up front I've come across a set of 3in over stock lift 2500 front coils, and want to run a 1.5-2.5in coil spacer as well(basically whatever spacer is need or not needed to have it sit fairly level)

And I am getting a drop pitman arm and new control arms as well. Any suggestions on either of those? and what else might I need to address that I'm probably forgetting besides shocks

Any help appreciated, thanks!

Maybe some brake line extensions? Actually you may be ok with what you have...I think at 5 inches of lift in the front, the lines are still ok...just keep an eye on those suckers! Also, dont forget about that track bar...you need to address that. Either get a drop bracket or convert to an extendable 3rd gen bar or whatever.

If your factory leaf springs are already starting to give out, wouldn't it be better just to replace the whole leaf pack? Skyjacker makes replacement leaf spring kits that allow for a variety of lift heights. Then you wouldn't have to worry about messing with blocks or anything either.

oh crap I forgot to add about getting a newerish pack from a junk yard, and I would just get a lifted spring pack but the only ones I've found are really expensive and I cant justify spending that much on something thats barely any more extreme then a farm vehicle.

And yeah brake line extensions I'll probably have to do, as well as the track bar but I'm gonna have to see what I can fab up because $150 for a hunk of metal that raises something seems ridiculous...kinda like all lift kit parts I guess

The good stuff isn't just a hunk of metal. They're designed to not suck and get you killed going down the road

Just keep in mind that vehicles with steering box/multi-link steering set ups are very sensitive to changes in steering geometry and angles. The replacement track bars that are manufactured by aftermarket companies have been specifically engineered to return the steering geometry to the factory orientation after a lift kit has been installed. There's a bit more science behind it than what it looks like...I know that there's no way in hell that I would attempt to fab my own bracket or track bar...the dreaded death wobble is not something to mess around with
