cheepest would be the crank sensor mod (free), a K&N drop in filter ($50), IAT relocate ($5~10), synthetic fluid swap on the driveline ($50~75), these are a few that I can think of...

yank the crank sensor and slot the holes, then remount it and move the sensor towards the center of the car. this increases base timing. there's a procedure on how to do it and what it gives you but I dont have a link so I'd have to find it (or search for it).

I dont have this mod because I have the hypertech programmer.

YOU HAVE TO AD SOME [sm=nxsmile.gif]. 150 hp in a bottle baby. no seriously, how much of a power gain are you looking for for the money. that would help because we can tell you what can work with you cash flow and how much HP you want.

the 5~10 bux for the IAT re-locate is for the parts needed to move it over... actually, if I remember correctly, all you need to do is drill and tap a hole for the sensor and move the wiring over.

as for mods under $100 bux... msd superconductor 8.5's are about $65 and a coil can be found for under $50, i'd start with the wires, then do the coil later... also there is a direct replacement coil from msd, I think it's a 8228 p/n but dont quote me on it. for '97 & newer trucks you'll need the accell wiring harness adapter to be able to plug it in.

you might be able to get a flowmaster installed too for under $100 bux...
