Default Sport rims painted black

Anyone have any pics of the sport rims painted black. I'm thinking of painting mine and was wondering what they might look like before I put in the work.

are the ones i'm speaking of.

Thanks

Just FYI, those rims are actually unique to the 00-01 offroad edition 2nd gen rams...any sport package truck that has those rims likely also has the offroad package as well. I believe that style of rim also came on the 3rd gen rams but I think it was a slightly different offset...might be mistaken on that one

All depends on how clean your's are and the prep you put into it and the quality of the paint you use.

Yeah I understand all that. That's why I said before I put in the work. I'm just wanting to see what they might look like to verify that's the look I would want.

Here's my 2001 (not ORE) rims painted with plastidip over a year ago. Washed rims with dawn, used index cards around the rim to mask off the tire and put down five coats. No peeling or fading. I like it.

I'll give a +1 on the plastidip option...I know a bunch of people that have used it and have nothing but good things to say...I might even do it to my offroad edition rims if I ever find the extra time

That looks pretty good! I have those wheels and a black truck. It might look kinda cool if I did something like that. I wish the plastidip was a bit blacker than that though.

I think if I do it, I'll mask off the lug nuts and center capt - that might look cool too.
