Default Mixing differential fluid

just got finished changing my differential fluid 85w140, 1 1/2 bottles can I top it off with 80w90

if you are not racing i think it will be ok. one time i mixed 3 QTs ARCO 10-30W graphite engine oil and 3 QTs stright 30 engine oil, ea change. for 50 K miles. and no trouble.

or just buy another bottle, I think RP is about $22...really tho if you're only light towing you're good (how much are you 'topping it off with?)
