96 ram shuts off after letting go of gas pedal
So I have a question. My truck (96' dodge 1500 4x4) will just shut off after I let off the gas. I have put a new TPS on it just last week thinking that might be the issue, well it wasn't. I thought it might be the Idle Control Valve but before I just replaced it I took it to autozone just to see if they could check the other sensors for me. The guy hooked it up and said that even though it wasn't throwing a check engine light it would be able to see if any sensors were throwing a code. No codes were found. So this should be vacuum leak somewhere, correct? Any tips or diagrams someone could show me to help me figure this out. If any other ideas please let me know! I'm hurting finanially and can't keep spending money on things that isn't causing the problem.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Pull the IAC anyway, clean it, and the hole it goes into really well. (have the battery disconnected while cleaning.) Put it all back together, turn the ignition On, but not to start, count to 10, then start it up. See if it will idle on its own.
