Default My truck is stalling.

I have a 1998 1500 Dodge Ram pick up. I forgot the engine size. My problem is, whenever I make a mid-hard left turn my truck will stop accelerating. My RPM's will accelerate as normal, but my truck won't go. It take a few seconds for it to go again. If I continue to slightly press the gas eventually my truck will slightly jerk and will be ok. If I continuously press the gas firm my truck will eventually jerk REALLY hard, as if some mechanism has to catch in order to go. Every time I pull out the drive way I have to make a left so my truck will stall sometimes. It usually doesn't kick in so I'd have to completely shut off my truck and start up again. Sometimes I have to start up twice. Right turn are good, but when I make them my truck will jerk a few times and will accelerate faster (if that made sense).
