Truck loading up on fuel. Help*
I have a 1997 dodge ram 1500. 5.9l v8. Just replaced the keg with the Hughes air gap intake(plenum fix). New IAC, IAT, TPS. Replaced all vacuum lines going to the intake. That being said, my truck will load up on fuel and start to chug after start up. A tap of the accelerator will cause to truck to run at a higher RPM until the excess fuel is burned off. After that process the truck will run fine until shut off And re-started.
*Note* this usually takes place 20-60 seconds after start up.
I could really use some help on this one.

Would the temp sensor for the dash gage really need replaced or would just the PCM just be needed? I understand I should probably just replace both at the same time, but I don't see how the gage sensor would cause such a symptom.
You might only have one doing double duty on a 97. How many did you remove from the keg manifold?
I removed the IAT (and put in a new sensor) and I have both the single wire and the double wire temp sensor.
Sensor going to the PCM is all you care about to get it running right.

O2 sensor shouldn't play a role. PCM doesn't start paying attention to it for a few minutes after initial startup. You can verify that it is/is not the problem, by simply disconnecting it, and see if the problem changes. (if the front O2 doesn't do anything, next, I would plug it back in, and try unplugging the rear O2. See if that doesn't help)
