Default brakes grabbing

My son has a 1999 ram 4x4 when he first drives the truck in the morning the brakes grab hard until the truck warms up , and then the brakes seem fine .any suggetions would be appericated. thanks

Mine is the same way. First application of the brakes in the morning, and they grab hard. After that, they are fine. I think the rotors/drums rust a bit overnight..... don't think there is anything you can do about it, other than be aware of the problem.

If it takes longer than that.... something else is awry.

Mine does the same. Before and after the upgrades.

add me to the list as well.

pulling out my gravel driveway in the a.m I skid...as soon as I hit the stop sign up the road (.5 mile) they work normally.

Sorry to hear that you regularly hit a stop sign to get your brakes to work. I ran over one once, but that was in the snow and ice...
