Default 1998 Ram 1500 5.2 Timing Control Module

Hello All,
I have tried to replace this part 3 times, all have been used parts, but none of them have worked properly. Is this just a freaky coincidence? Do I have to get my trucks ecm re-flashed? Please help.
Paul

Timing control module? Where is it, and why are you replacing it?

Default Problem

It is located under the steering column, a little to the right. When I turn my left directional on, the wipers also go on. When I turn my fog lights on the horn beeps and the windshield wipers also go on.

Oh, Central Timer Module.

You have a short somewhere. According to the wiring diagrams, the CTM has nothing to do with those systems. You can grab the factory service manual, (which has the diagrams) from this thread.

Default Problem getting worse

Now, 3 out of four speakers are not working, took it to the Geek Squad, they tested the deck, and the power, they were stumped, they think its in the wiring, I live in NH, not rich, can anybody recommend someone reasonable? This problem is driving me crazy, and the driver window has issues with power occasionally, just replaced the switch, still happens. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have the infinity system? What year is your truck?
