Did you have the test light across the pins on the connector? If so, you have a short to ground somewhere. (and that holds the injector open...... not good.)

Nope. There are two pins in the injector connector. One will be hot with the engine running. The other is the control circuit from the PCM, it provides ground, to open the injector. (for milliseconds at a time.....) Need one side of the test light on the power pin, other side of test light goes to the other pin. (control side) with engine running, test light is in the circuit in place of the injector, and should flash when the engine is running.

Edit: Or, you can go to the parts store, and pick up a "noid light", it plugs right into the connector, and its sole purpose in life is to see if that injector is getting pulse. (really easy to use)

Just got back with the noid light, AutoZone had one. Ran the test on the connector and it was blinking and functioning normal. Hopefully it was just a loose connection I guess I'll know in a couple days if the engine code comes back. If it is the PCM what's a good source for purchasing one.

Go thru your local parts store. That way, if you get a bad one, you can walk in, and chat with a real human being, instead of being on the phone, where they can say "no warranty", and hang up on you.....

Thanks again for your input I'm hoping that I don't have to replace it. The good news is I got two new tools out of it.
