removing the top of the rear seat in a 2000 Ram

I know this is going to sound stupid but can the top b removed without takin the whole seat out? I have speakers and a box that i want to put in there on the back seat but with the back in place it will not fit

You are going to have to remove the whole seat, then (I think) you can unbolt the back part of the seat, and put the seat part back in.

Ok thanks very much that's what i kinda figured but was hoping it would be alil mOre simple then that
