I'm not finding any installation for 4.10 for 44's or 9.25's. Nothing on summit, jegs, or richmond themselves. I found installation kit numbers but none are working for me. I suppose I'll have to order parts separately then.

That seems kinda strange..... there should only be one seal on each side, so far as I know......

Randy's Ring and Pinion has install kits.

Yeah I thought they looked like weird main seals...I looked on the site and I found master overhaul, yukon minor, yukon bearing, and carrier bearing kits. They also had 4.11 gears, not 4.10. How come that is? Anyways I dont know what kit I need to regear, never been in depth in differentials or have a lot of knowledge in them.

Gear ratio is number of ring gear teeth, divided by number of pinion gear teeth. Sometimes, the number comes out weird (4.09, or 4.11, for instance.) seems folks just round that to 4.10. Most ads should specify number of teeth, and you can calculate ratio yourself. (41 and 10 is quite obvious. )

That is very strange, the smaller one wouldnt go on the axle would it? like it goes on the axle and is some sort of protective cover for the main seal on the outside? Hmmm very strange. I would google the part number on the smaller box and see what it comes up as.

CJ yeah I'm not sure on the seals either, I'm just going to return them and get some other seals. Those two sets cost $30 so I don't know if thats right or not for axle seals...Thanks for the clarification on the gears HeyYou but right now I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and just have the axle seals replaced......thanks guys for the input
