banks big boss ..easy hard to install ..plug and play ??? also change out 4.10 rear ends to 3.73 or 3.55 ?? expensive?? 1999 3500 dually 2 w.d.

Gears: 150-300 for the gears, and probably about the same for labor. I would ask though, why do you want to go to a higher (numerically lower) gear?

No clue about the BBB.

Maybe it's a diesel?

I know Jig hates his 4.10 gears but, he is far from stock power wise....

am looking for fuel mileage ..over 6.00 dollars a gallon for fuel ..even a couple gpm would be nice .. lots of power to pull my fiver ,,so lower gears make sense

yes its a 5.9 diesel ..great engine ,,little horse power though ,,I think 210-215 somewhere there

Get a tuner for it. Then you can dial the power up some. Not gonna help fuel economy though...... gears will be far more effective for that, and with the torque the diesel has, not like you will notice.
