Fuel pump doesn't seem to run. When jumping 30 & 87 on the fuel pump relay shouldn't my pump run? Just installed a new pump,it still doesn't run. If I put gas in the throttle body it starts right up. What checks should I perform? Thanks in advance.

 

Are you getting 12 volts at pin 30?

 

Yes. I had power at pin 30. Dug into it a little deeper last night. I had 12v at the green and bk wire at the pump. No ground at the pump (black wire) but I had it up front down by the l/f frame. I ran a new ground from that connector to the pump and it started right up. Thanks.
