Default Temp gauge fluctuation

Just purchased my first V10 driving at home noticed the temp gauge is fluctuating one needle width below 200 to 1 needle width above 200 in about 30 Second cycle,
It is a 1996 with 68,000 miles, thanks

Normal. Make sure cooling system is topped up, and all the air is out.

A bad radiator cap can make it run a little hot also. No guess on the fluctuation.
