Default idle and goes it gear when she cold bogs when it warms up and rpms drops when hitting

Hey guys haven't found a thread I'm looking for.I have a 95 ram 1500 with 5.2l I rebuilt the top end she ran rough and died when put in gear I changed the IAC and now start right up and idles fine today the rpms moves around a little bit while being cold I hit the gas and it doesn't bog the rpm jumps to about 1500 barely touching the gas it'll go it gear what baffles me is it acts normal when it's cold but when it warms up touching the gas some times the rpm drops and she bogs go in gear I mainly have be on the gas to keep it from dying my dlc wouldn't communicate but fuses are good I flipped key few times and from what I can remember 3 codes a crank sensor code ,tps code and a malfunction injector I believe cyl 2 I think the codes were 337 225 an 202 any help would be great the truck ran fine before I tore it down don't really understand why any sensors would be bad now like I said I changed the IAC and it's allot better but still ain't right thanks in advance

Check your grounds first, and make sure all the assorted electronics on the intake are connected up good. Sometimes the injector connectors can be loose, and that will give you some interesting symptoms.

I just changed the tps and when it finally got to temp it bog but didn't die and will start right back up without a problem miss fires intermittent reason I say that cause I give her gas and when the rpms drop back down it will take awhile before she miss again if she does it at all that time repeat with the throttle and it'll miss. doesn't miss at all when on the gas doesn't back fire when the rpms drop I'm getting close I believe but don't wanna keep putting money in it for a small change she a beater wanting turn into a plow truck but want wait to get a plow an mount till I get the running straighten out

Unplug the front O2 sensor. See if that helps.

Also, clean the throttle body, especially the IAC bore. (disconnect the battery first)

I've put a new IAC, crank sensor, and tps on it and cleaned the throttle body and that boreNot sure what else I know it has spark injectors are getting power it mainly has the problem when it's at temp. Their not much left of my exhaust previous kid put a stack on it the cat and o2 still their I'll try that o2 thing though I was told it has new plugs in it they ain't that new but only things I can think of is plugs, wires, cap and rotor and the cam sensor I got the engine light to flash but I'm not getting communication to my scanner though sorry for the long comments but more everyone knows the better the input will be to help diagnose... thanks

Hey i unplugged the o2 and seem like it got worse I did that before i even started it up today. I noticed when she bogs down i can hear it sucking more air and i can touch the gas and it will pick back up without hesitation. Also seems like when i shut it off after it warms up and start it again the rpms will drop below 500 everytime I take it up to 1500 or more but if I do it before i shut it off normally stop back around 800 thanks for your time hoping get this right soon

Where did you get the IAC from? I had an aftermarket unit in my truck, and got a lot of the same behavior...... it was just too slow to react. Swapped it for an old dodge original unit out of another throttle body, and problems went away......

It's from O'Reillys it says OEM on it. You make a good point ive had them kinda problem with after market before i just picked up Bosch platinum plugs to see if it will help I was told to try the cap and rotor I'm thinking maybe timing I loosen the distributor cause their was a article on the net saying i had to pull it to do the intake i believe I got it back in the right position but it's hard to see iseen i thing saying if I get the #1 piston tdc and pul the coil wire withb the key on i could index the distributor that way cause it will set off the relay when it's in time

If you haven't installed the plugs yet, don't. These engines don't like the Rare Earth plugs.... you get misfires, and various other interesting problems. Just stick with some good copper plugs. Autolites, AC/Delco, whathaveyou.
