I am looking for a replacement clip for the accelerator linkage that connects to the throttle body. (See picture)


This is off a 2001 dodge 2500 v-10 although I believe all the v-8's use this part. The clip that keeps the linkage together has a broken tab. I have been to plenty of auto parts and even a dodge dealer for a new clip no-one has one.

Has anyone found a replacement for this clip?

I hate to go and get a old one out of a junkyard.

 

If no one has it, the junk yard would be your only option. Don't hate.

ok, here is an update. The link for the throttle is part number 52077860 I got it for 12 bucks. They do not make this part anymore and there are not a lot left. At least that is what a few guys told me. Anyway my truck is up and running.

P.S. I did go to the junk yard, and no, I did not hate it. Actually I liked it, they did not have the part but I still liked the experience. It has been a long time since I was in a junk yard.
