Unhappy 1998 dodge ram 4x2

I have a 1998 dodge ram, it would shake when I brake, so I put brand new rotors and pads on the front. Still shakes when I brake, any suggestions?
Thanks guys!

It only shakes when i brake. It has brand new tie tod ends as well and brand new back brakes. I brought it into the shop and they said i had play with my pitman arm and idler, idler was already replaced as well... so the only thing i can change is my pitman arm. Wanted to see if anyone had this issue :/

Do you feel the vibe in the pedal?

Do you feel it in your seat?

How old are the shocks?

Vibe like that not going to come from the pitman arm...

then its a tie rod somewhere in the front I would guess. Not sure how lifted your truck is but I'm thinking you can just pull on the tie rods and see which one has a loose ball joint attached. then swap it out i suggest moog parts for the replacement they really tightened up my front end. If you have steering stabilizers it might hide the issue a little.

heres a link for checking your front end for a worn part hope it helps might not be exact but will give you an idea.

a video would help i think if possible. you the rear drums get replaced or just the shoes? if its only while braking i'd think the front end wouldnt be causing it, that would be an all the time case. if you have new rotors up front, id check the drums and see if they need to be turned or replaced
