If you can't find Red Line - I used Mobil 1 75W 90. If you have a limited slip rear end, Auto Zone has some "friction additive" in a tube (I can't remember the name of it) that is on the shelf next to the gear lube. I heard you didn't need it with Mobil 1, but I put a tube in anyway. You will also need some red gasket sealer to form a new gasket on the rearend covers. Don't waste your time looking for a gasket like I did....there isn't one. Just use red gasket sealer.

I put AMSoil 75w90 for LS rear-ends in mine. Seems to be great so far, 'course my friction clutches are blown up so my rear isn't quite as LS as it should be (gotta get that stuff from randy's one of these days, just don't want to waste the fresh fluid that's in there).

Hey Steve00, I still have 35,000 miles on the 6 yr 100,000 powertrain warranty I got when I bought the truck new after 9-11. I figure Dodge will get to rebuild it one more time at least. I would like to look into a shift kit, but I don't want to void the warranty. I put a cooler on it, maybe that will help. Thanks for the link!
