Default Any news on the 5.2l long tube headers?

The guy was working on them for awhile now. Anybody hear of any progress?

nope i havent heard anything. how much of an hp increase was it suppost to be. I might just get regular headers.

headers generally dont give that much hp increase but the design of them can contribute to bigger gains with other mods... a small primary tube can help with low end torque while a bigger tube can help with high end hp. the long tube headers are also supposed to be good for torque, not sure why but that's what I hear.

long tubes help with low end tq b/c the exhaust gasses are held inside the smaller primary longer as opposed to shortys like you and i got...the gasses get dumped into eachother at the collector sooner, similar to restrictive stocker manifolds,,,when gasses run into eachother from different cylynders it creates a small resistance make sense? it does to me,,, atleast thats what ive read at many sites..
