Default buying 1st cummins need help getting it in 2 hrs

Ok so now Im gonna go pick up a 24 valve 99 the only thing that worries me is theres a code foe water in fuel.Should that scare me away?

Not really. Probably just time to change filters and such. If it has been sitting for a while, could just be condensation buildup. Sure wouldn't hurt to flush the fuel system, and put fresh in... then bleed it out.

Well heyyou it looks like Ill be back on here annoying ya guys again. I LOVE that crewcab dually superduty 7.3 I bought but hell if those things arent expensive to work on.Do I need a quality reader like a snap on for the 24 valve or will just an obd2 work?

I would guess that your typical code reader would read that as well.... but, not like I haven't been wrong before.
