So I just got this truck and it needed a starter. We changed the starter and right after it would not stay running with out any gas it would just die. But if you just held the gas on a little it would stay running and drive fine. But then after a little bit of driving it was fine. And idling normal. Didn't do it for two days and then this morning I drove it to Safeway was fine. Came out turned it in and was doing the same then and then by the time I pulled out of the parking lot it was idling fine again. Any ideas what this is? Anyone had this problem? It didn't do this until I changed the starter.

May just be re-learning idle. Is the CEL on?
