Default I think my auto transmission or Transfer case is blown

Hey guys, need some help. I got a 95 with 5.9 auto trans. Driving my truck home today from work and I lost all acceleration. I put it in all gears and truck wont move just revs. I moved the shifter around and put it in drive and the truck jumped in gear and I was able to get home. but I have oil dripping out of the transfer case.

this is my first 4x4 pickup so im lost. how can I figure out what might be shot and I need to replace.

Next question is what is a good bolt on replacement for the Transmission and a good replacement for the Transfer case?

Thanks in Advance.

Junkyard for the t-case, unless you want to spend 800 bucks or so for a reman unit....

Best bet is to crawl under there, and see if anything is obviously blown.

well I checked the truck out today, and I think the shifter cable is busted. shifter moves really easy and the transmission doesn't move at all and normally I can feel the truck go into gear. Transmission fluid is full and looks good.

Sounds like the shifter linkage, or a worn/missing bushing on the linkage.

That doesn't explain the fluid from the T-case though, unless when it jumped into drive, it slammed hard enough to crack the T-case.
