Default My truck/question.

I still have my Dakota (running but not moving the best haha) but a year ago I bought my Ram. Pics in the album on my profile.

1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport.
5.2L 318 V8 Magnum.
4x4.
158,xxx on the original motor.
Jasper transmission from first or second owner (I'm the fourth).
K&N CAI.
Airaid Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer.
Headers (not sure what kind) into a DI/SO cat into a SI/DO Cherry Bomb Extreme Muffler with Magnaflow tips.
Jet Power Control Module.
MSD Blaster Ignition Coil.
Plenum and head gaskets have been replaced.

Eagle Eye HID Headlights.
3" body lift.
5" suspension lift (I believe...and not sure what kind).
35" BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K/O's.
Look like American Racing wheels to me.
Chrome nerf bars.

Power windows/locks/driver seat.
Painted bezel, trim and such.
Rear sliding window.
Tinted rear windows.
Cartman sticker.
"Got 'em, Show 'em" sticker.
Sony Bluetooth stereo.
Replaced factory Kenwoods in doors with Kickers.
Already had Kicker speakers in the rear and Kicker subs in the box under the seat.
Kicker and Rockford amps...one for the subs and one for the speakers, of course.
Capacitor.

Not bad for $2000 and 99% of the truck already being built. Yeah, I don't get the pleasure of doing so but I've got my hands dirty with it enough already haha

As for my question: whether warm or not, sometimes when I shift into reverse I hear this sound...

At around 5 seconds I shift and you hear the mechanisms and such move but then theres a sorta winding sound. I do it a few more times but its either faint or not there. It doesn't always do it either and hasn't until recently when I haven't been driving as much. It sounds similar to my mom's Durango even after that had a transmission job so I'm like maybe its normal...maybe not...so any input?

I don't hear anything bad, might just be the pump filling the torque converter back up. And looking at the pic, I think that's only a 2" or 2.5" level kit with body lift. Hard to say without seeing in person though.

For sure a 3" body lift. As for suspension...not sure. It has blocks in the back and what looks like 5" blocks or something at the top of the coils up front. My old boss had a lifted truck and guessed and it looked about right to me...

Whereabouts in Michigan? I see it has the typical michigan rust. (but not as bad as mine.....)

Can we get some pics of the suspension?

East Michigan and yeah, typical rust on the body and a tiny surface rust underneath but nothing a good cleaning won't fix haha

Added some pics of the suspension to the album.
