My passenger headlight blew out a few days ago so I went and bought the best bulbs advance had and a few hours later I hit a pothole and it blew out again. I pulled it out and noticed theres a crack and its filled with water. I want to replace both sides assemblies but with all these crazy projector headlights im not sure if I want to just buy OEM ones. When the bulbs or whatever they are blow out on these projector, halo, etc. headlights can you replace the bulbs or do you just buy new headlights? Is it worth it? Thanks
Mine used to fill with water too. I ended up drilling very small holes on the underneath of the headlight housing. Seems to be working so far, and that was quite a few years ago.
I've purchased Anzo projector headlights (they are very nice looking headlights) but found that they do not put out decent light at night and the light pattern is not as full as OEM headlights. I'm going to remove them and replace them with OEM style sport headlights. These will put out plenty of light and can be installed in non-sport option trucks by cutting out the front fender area behind the headlight for clearance and adding a conversion wiring connector.
I bought aftermarket OEM style housing a few years ago and have been real happy with them. Made my front look like new again. And made a big difference with light output.

Can we please get some photos of these lights? Inquiring minds would like to see them..
This auto log-out is killing me while I type. I typed in a nice semi-long response with all my lighting experiences but when I submitted the dang thing asked me log in again and dumped my response. Too much to re-type but basically I tried everything and i recommend go to Ebay at this link - http://www.ebay.com/itm/231157916148?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT - and get a set of OEM style with side markers for $61.24 free shipping. I just ordered a set today for one of my trucks and abviously don't have them yet so I can't tell you much about them yet but I expect they will be as good as any aftermarket sets. If you are getting moisture it will blow your bulbs everytime. It's as bad for halogen bulbs as touching them. I tried projection and they completely sucked. You CANNOT see. I beleive they are made for HID set-ups which requies ballasts and a wiring kit - PLEASE if you go HID be SURE to aim them, no one else on the road wants blinded by some idiot too stupid to aim their killer lights. I tried Silverlight and cool blue bulbs but they just throw differnt colors not more light. HID is probably the best way to go if you want great lights but it requires a good kit, $$ and again - aiming. Hope this helps. If you have either a crack or bad/missing o-ring on your bulb socket you will get moisture.

+2. I did this as well. The first set was replaced by the dealer under warranty. The second time this happened it was outside of the warranty and I drilled holes in the bottom. This was probably 7-8 years ago and I haven't had a problem since.
