Here's where we're at
Well, this winter has been to bad but my 98 Ram 4x4 1500 doesn't like it, battery strain, frame making noises much like a old person getting out of bed.
At 323, 300 miles (modified 318) buggy is doing ok, again this cold -25 one nite and next morning thermostat froze up and open late somewhere around 210-230 deg. it open thank god, but the plastic side on the radiator (driver side) cracked, I was floating 3 ***** and one half way...hmmmm
so radiator replaced and bottom hose and thermostat (195) temp holds great and running great again.

Well, I'm confused. You say "buggy" like you're from New England, but then it says you're in OK, which never gets -25 below, unless you're talking Celsius, which is only used in Canada, where they also use kilometers instead of miles, so not sure what's going on. . . . Anyway, I guess good job on keeping the rig going all those miles.
As for the "Buggy", just have always referred to the 98' that way. Took the engine out when in college, got bored. its about 325 cu.in now, bored, mild cam, 360 heads, bottom-top end mods, didn't have it decked, should of. Header/exhaust system. Love getting on the freeway with. No tranny problems, I maintenance myself take to carx to a buddy to get bearing, and front end work done. Weekend project, getting sanded and repaint come spring and 4 years a classic plate.
