Ebay ring and pinion set?
Okay guys, anyone have experience with an ebay ring and pinion set?
My LSD is destroyed, so I need to pull it and replace it. (I'll probably just rebuild the factory LSD as it's just a 2wd and never sees any off-road action.) I figured that since I have to pull the carrier to replace the clutches, may as well replace the bearings to make sure there's no residual clutch shavings that will cause me trouble in 6 months.
Since I have to pull the bearings, and will already have to reset the carrier backlash, might as well also upgrade to 4.10s.
Found this set on ebay that is half the price of what Randy's wants. Looks like it's the R&P, plus the master install kit.... but no names on the R&P or bearings.
Anyone have experience with these?
