Temp gauge and thermometer are within a few degrees of each other. The only way I was able to get it somewhat warm was by running it in the driveway around 2k RPM. Once it's on the road the temp drops and overs around 130-140 on the gauge.

I was thinking either that or a bad fan clutch. My fan clutch likely needs to be replaced anyway since there's a lot of play in it. It's either the clutch that has play, or the water pump. Looked like the clutch to me, but I haven't taken it off yet.

Picked up a new t-stat, gasket, and fan clutch from AZ today. I'm going to swap the t-stat for good measure (got a failsafe one) and I'm swapping the fan clutch because it has a lot of play in it. Hoping I won't find any issues with the water pump shaft. I'm not sure when I'll get into it, but hopefully in the next few days/by the weekend.

Take the failsafe one back, and get a stant, superstat. The problem with the failsafe ones is, they fail all to easily.
