Default 1999 2500 dodge ram

Im needed some help I just bought a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. The whole truck is in perfect condition. Only two little rust spots not even a rip in the seat. Truck runs and drive perfect. Thats the good!!!! Now the bad The transfer case lever will not even move a little. I have put fresh trans fluid in and new vacuum control on top. I also disconnected the shift lever hoping that would help still not moving. Does any one have any suggestions. Or do I just replace the transfer case?

Sounds like time to drop the case, and see what's up.

When you disconnected the shift linkage, are you saying the shift lever in the cab isn't moving, or the lever on the transfer case?
