I have a 1998 ram 4x4 sport ext cab. The front axle went bad and swapped it with a 1997. I don't have either sway bar and trying to locate one. Since they are different for those years Im needing a 1997 to match axle. Problem is the dodge dealer schematic shows the bolt holes for the end links running vertically and I need them to run horizontally. We searched every year from 1995-1999 and they list different numbers but image is all the same. Any idea what part number I'll need? Any way of knowing the number is right but schematic is wrong?

 

Go with the correct part number. The pics can be rather generic......
