If you are going to haul anything in the bed of your truck I wouldn't put a body lift on it. Get a proper lift kit and do it right you'll thank yourself in the end.

I had the bodYlift on my gas burner and I hauled over 30 different Harleys ATVs motorcycles small block ChevyS, transmissions,my English wHell, motorcycle lifta golf cart all kinds of things with no issue. I have the money to buy a suspension lift. I'm not wanting the body lift for the Lift I want it for the extra engine space. I do custom metal fabrication and body work for a livinG,so if I ever needed it I could just run some square Tubing under the bed for support.

Well you sound like you know what you're doing. I am just not a huge fan of body lifts. As you know they don't make them for diesel trucks. But with your fab skills I would think doing what ever mods needed would be easy for you. And when you're done you can do a write up about what you had to do so others can read about it.

It's not like the bodies are any different. Might have to mess with the steering column because of space in the engine.

I think about the only difference is the intercooler that would also need to be addressed....
