Default i need help#2 don't know where to go from here

I recently.installed my distributor in incorrectly not knowing exactly how to do it on this engine but let me run you thru what I have done to fix that

I pulled out distributor drive gear positioned it so the rotor would hit #1 Mark on distributor an put everything back together double checked the firing order an the truck will not run it seems as if it isn't getting fuel.which it is an enough of it it just won't run... could fuel sync be so far out that I can't even get my truck to run??

How are you determining the engine is getting fuel? You didn't perhaps, forget to plug the cam position sensor back in did you? (Its in the distributor.)

Fuel pressure tester. I'm not convinced that it is getting it at the right time cause it won't fire. Sometime told me yes one before but I'll ask again.could my fuel sync bee ask far of that it won't even run?

Try stepping down on the gas some. See if that improves its attitude any. Fuel sync *shouldn't* make it not start, if its way off, it will just run really bad.

1. What position were timing marks on cam and crank and what did you look at to verify?
2. What was the last valve to close when rotating into TDC position?
3. What cylinder did you place at TDC, 1 or 6?
4. When you installed distributor drive gear was it pointed toward number 1 intake bolt?
5. Did you rotate distributor so the rotor points exactly at the number 1 mark inside the distributor?
