what you may be hearing is pre-ignition/spark knock. The black stuff you're talking about may be from you trying to start it so much without spark, the cylinders may have still been full of unburned fuel, resulting in the truck start up and running super duper uber rich.

ok so i fixed the misfire issue it must of been a wire. but i still now hear a clanking sound from inside the engine like somthing came loose. i sounds like a rock bouncing around down under near the oil pan. should i take the oil pan off and see if theres somthing in there?

Does the noise change with engine speed/RPM? Can you post a video of it? I'm not sure how going through the car wash could have damaged the engine internally. Are you sure there isn't a chunk of ice or something somewhere?

i dont know how to post the vid from my phone on here. but it is defenetly coming from around the oil pan area from inside. it clanks around steady at idle then sounds like it is being thrown around everywhere when i rev up the rpm. how easy is it to drop the pan out on a 2500?

Are you sure you're not just hearing normal sounds? The crank obviously is just above the oil pan. I guess it's hard to say since I don't really know what a clanking noise sounds like.

Change the oil first before you do anything else.

Depending on how much you cranked it, you could have bled all that gas into the oil, thinning it out quite a bit.

Gas and oil doesn't lubricate well and will damage your engine in short order.

Took it out for a test drive. I can still hear the rattle and I noticed a bad lack of power. Almost like my cat is clogged. The cat isn't even a year old so I'm not sure if that's it. I can accelerate slowly but if I try to punch it it sounds muffled and barely goes. Any ideas?
