Default HVAC Blend Door Motor Issue

On my 01, I cannot change from hot to cold temperature with the **** on the A/C control panel. I ordered the HeaterTreater axle shaft and installed per instructions I was sent. There is still no action when turning from cold to hot or vice versa. I have been reaching down and manually swapping it over by grabbing the axle of the blend door and twisting it appropriately. That will get me by in the short term. However, I'm a tad lost on where to go from here. Do I test the connector to the motor? Or do I test the switch at the A/C panel (assuming there is something there that is able to be tested). The motor is good, I tested it with a 9V while I had it out of the casing. Any help is appreciated.

There was an article on the site to 're-index' the little motor, did you do that as well? Does the motor do anything at all?

I feel like I scoured HeaterTreater's webpage all over and found no article about re indexing. There were some instructions with the part that explained that procedure, and I felt like I followed them perfectly..twice. When the motor is installed in the truck, everything bolted up and plugged in..nothing happens when turning the ****.

Did you follow the procedure when installing the motor? (Set the temp **** to straight up, install motor.... etc.)

On the connector at the actuator motor, Dark blue wire should have 12 volts. (with ignition on.) Black with lite green trace is a ground, yellow wire with orange trace goes thru a variable resistor (temp ****) and then to ground...... Make sure you get 12 volts at the motor, and you see variable resistance to ground on the yellow/orange, black/lite green should just be ground. (zero resistance to ground. ) See if that's what ya got.

I set it to straight up, but did not disconnect the battery until the motor was installed and plugged up ( I know..I know). Just for gigs I'll test the connector before I rip that thing back out. If everything checks out, I'll take the motor back out, re index it, and correctly re install it. When I say correctly, I mean ignition on, temp **** to center, ign off, battery disconnected, etc. Thanks for all your help. That wiring info will definitely save my life.

If it turns out to be the control panel itself, I have an extra one when my motor was acting up. I got it from a parts truck but later learned it was the motor interposer so the heatertreater kit fixed it. If you need the panel, hit me up.
