I am in need of a timing chain cover for a 1994 V10!
Also i would like to know if anyone else has had a problem with the oil pump gears?

Nope, you aren't the first. Seems this was a relatively common problem on higher mileage engines. EBay has the covers, and pumps, and such for reasonable prices.

Default Ebay has the gaskets but I cannot find the covers for the V10

this engine only has 50K miles and oil changed every 2500 to 3000 miles.

Default I know it is old

I have no problem with replacing the pump etc but we need the cover and I have not been able to find one. That is what started this whole thread and rather than being told it is old I was looking for help. Oh well so much for this forum.

Maybe you should read my first post in your thread, where I told you where to find the covers.

The timing covers show up from time to time on both ebay and craigslist. When you re-install, use some locktite on the screws holding the oil pump rotors in place.

Quick google search turned up several, from various places..... prices ranged from 290.00 to over 800.00 bucks....... The latter one must be made of platinum, or some such.

Damn some real testy new forum members the past few days. Must be something in the water......................

Try www.car-part.com it has a good list of used covers.
