fog lamps

Default fog lamps

I been thinking of trying to get my fog lamps working on my 97 Laramie, are they on a fuse? Any trouble shooting suggestions? thank you

If they dont work, fuse sounds like a good place to start.

There should be a 5 amp fuse for the illumination circuit which includes cluster,HVAC,fog switch,radio, and overhead console.

There are also two relays for the foglights under the hood in the plastic box on the driver's side (relays made by Hella actually).

And if I remember right the headlights have to be on (low beam) for the foglights to work (so make sure you've got your headlights on when checking them).

Mine don't work either but my button does not even light up to begin with it does on my Wife's Durango so I assume it does on the RAM. Probably going to tear into the wiring this weekend.
