Her is a list of tsb's for 96. Some may be for other years also. I believe the one i was thinking of is # 21-11-97a

They aren't recalls, just "notes" put out by the manufacturer for common problems that crop up, and the fix that has been found to work. So are done for no charge, some are not.

If it's a recall it will be noted. If there are people with 96's you should have gotten a recall notice for the hood latch. ??? There was one for the wiring in the cab also. I guess that depends on how long you have owned it. I got both of these notices in the mail but never got them changed.
