Best/cheapest 5"+ lift
I have a 1994 Dodge 1500 5.2 4x4. I am looking for a 5 in lift that is cheap but not junk. I was looking at the rough country 5 in for $759, but unfortunately due to me living in Alaska, sellers either are not willing to ship or shipping is rediculous. Since shipping is crazy I am somewhat open to possibly paying a little more to get something better if those are not recommended. Anyone have this lift? Any other recommendations are highly appreciated! I plan on regearing to either 4.56 or 4.88 and plan on putting on 35's.
What about the local 4x4 shops? Any of them offer a lift your interested in?
The RC lift is ok and as always you get what you pay for. I would check with the larger warehouse type stores and see if any of them have a deal on shipping.
I would go with the 4.88 gears but I always like the lower gears.

Yeah I already ordered the dual stabilizer from them. I think I am going to order that lift. And in response to shops around here, all the ones I have talked to can order a lift, but with shipping, it comes about the same. Plus most shops won't order it for me without them doing the install. I plan on installing this myself, no it is not money smart.
i am about to lift my 97 ram 4x4. i suggest you check out bds suspension. the warranty is second to none, so if you plan on wheeling or getting off the road at all with your truck, check them out for sure.
i have heard some horror stories about that 5 inch rough country kit.
hope this helped
