Default Ball joints

I've just put upper and lower ball joints on ok now the upper the tapered shaft moves in and out this a moog part the problem solver has anybody used this part that can tell me more about this don't seem right to have the space at the top side bottom was a dead match top was maybe factory not sure but I can say the right front is sitting better now was leaning in at the top or out at the bottom lol it was wore out thanks for the help

I have the part and mine has a space too. It had me worried too.

K3134T I ordered them from moog your truck been ok with the space on the top bottom was a great fit had to jack up on the bottom of the bearing housing to hold the ball joint tilling could get it good and tight one thing I saw is the bottom grease zerk I need to get a elbow zerk looks real close to the axle joint what did u do with that

No worries as long as it tightened up and there's no play. That just looks like the boot should have been bigger is all.

I think they redesigned the boots. When i put mine on the boot came down and made a seal around the knuckle.
