Hey guys, as some of you know I bought a f250 and sadly that means its time to sell my 1998 ram 1500, and i need some emergency help from you all! So the passenger seat belt is jammed, the belt is the kind that is inside the seat, and we have someone coming to look at the truck tonight. So, does anyone have ideas?

Some additional info, the seat belt light used to never come on what so ever. About the same time it jammed, the light is always on (saying that the seat belt is not being worn). Could this be a wiring issue? And if so where would i locate the wires?

Yes i know i could search the forum for awhile and find this info, but I am posting this first in hopes that someone has the answer and then searching the forum. Links to other threads or ideas or general info would be great guys, Thank you!

 

Look under the seat for an electrical connector, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't just a bad connection there, or, a bad ground.
