I completed the 318/390 stroker today. Hemifever is stating the stock injectors will not work, so I'm trying to figure out what will. He's suggesting 30lb but from what I've read that may be too big. However, not a lot of info on how to determine best size other than trial and error. Any suggestions will be very appreciated.

If he says 30 that's what I would go with.

 

Stock 318 use 22lb injectors... a 390 is ~1¼ times larger... 22 x 1.25 = 27.5lb as a rough starting point for the same level of performance.
30lb will allow room for higher performance, or a lesser duty cycle on the injector at the same performance.
Use the calculator in my first link, a 30lb injector should be good for a 380HP build... is that about your target?... I'm guessing that is what Sean had in mind.

01 49psi at the fuel rail so a 30# injector would be about a 34#..27# would put you much closer to his suggestion. 390 stroker thats cool got some pics to share.
