Default Engine tick after TC/Plenum replacement

Ok so I've gone about 200-250 miles after this project and I've developed a tick coming from the front drivers side of the engine. How can I determine if its a lifter or something else? It doesn't come out of it after it warms up either. Also CEL came on, going to check it out today. Any ideas?

Sounds like an exhaust leak to me. When you first start the truck go put your hand on the side where the leak is and see if you can feel the leak.
