What are some good sets of headers for 2001 ram 1500 5.2.. And what's the difference between a 50mm and a 52mm throttle body

 

Gibson and jba are good headers. The difference between a 50mm tb, and a 52mm tb is 2mm's. lol. JK, Most guys on here will say to get a 50mm or just mod your own. I just replaced a 50mm with a 52mm and it was a night and day difference.

Your welcome! Another power adder to consider is a tuner. I have a superchips, and it really woke the truck up. Also 1.7 roller rockers are a good mod.

 

Does it matter what brand of roller rockers

 

Want to really wake it up? How about swapping in a 5.9?

 

Harland Sharp 1.7's are what most run.

if you wanna wake it up, get a hemifever tuner and the more mods you put on your truck the more the tuner is gonna do for your truck. its worth every penny. Make sure you replace your plenum gasket with a hughes kit, that does wonders to bringing back lost performance.

 

A new timing chain would help too. If it's the original one, it probably a little stretched out.
