Default Front Diff Gear Fluid Question

So the passenger side seal on my front axle is leaking... I'm planning on topping the fluid off every so often for a while before fixing it. I've been reading this page here to get the fluid type, and I was reading some other guides on directions. From what I can tell, I need to remove the plug and fill the fluid up to the threads for the plug. The fluid has less than 2000 miles on it, so I'll just be topping it off. I was reading online about adding a trutrac additive if you have limited slip. I know my rear end is limited slip. Did front end DANA 44s come limited slip? Do I need to fool with the additive or just add the gear oil?

No traction-aid in the front diff. Just add the fluid.

Lots of gear oil off the shelf at stores comes with the additive already added to it. You can use that to no ill effect if you have some laying around

Or you can use old school just plain gear oil. Just fill up till fluid starts to dribble out the full hole.

Ok, thanks!

I'll just pick up the fluid on my lunch break today.
