I asked over in the van section but no traffic- I have a kegger with no egr that I am going re-gasket and probably mod but my 94 5.2 has an egr. Will there be big problems? I kept the kegger from an old blown up engine I had so it is free and down time would be minimum if I decide to mod it. Now is the perfect time for me since I just dropped the Trans and I will be installing next weekend along with a few other goodies.

 

Seem to be mixed results on that, some folks can do away with EGR, and have no issues, some folks get codes for it. I think the PCM is looking for some particular feedback from the system, that is fairly easy to spoof. (info would be in the service manual, you can get one from here.)
